The Eager Beaver Family | Based in NZ, and founded in 1998 we are an award winning* toy design company. My husband Mark is the designer, our children and their friends are the testers and I make sure the toys reach you.
My request to Mark when we started was to design toys that would be
• fun & hard wearing
• wouldn't be lost before the children have tired of them
• educational & interactive
• and would encourage the use of imagination and shared play.
He designed the kits4kids toys, with built-in features like swings and slides, rope ladders and trapdoors. He made them big enough for my two girls to share, and designed them so that they could be assembled and then put away by anyone, even (especially) the children.

Following the success of the kits4kids Fort (2001), Mark further developed the design and we now have the kits4kids Castle (2002). Extra features include a gatehouse, portcullis, rope ladders and trapdoors. In 2003 we were pleased to add the Painted Castle for busy parents who don’t have the time or artistic skills to paint their own. The kits4kids Painted Castle was a winner in the Duracell Top Ten Toys Survey, NZ 2004.

Following the success of the kits4kids toy range has come the creation of other toys for the children including;
The Pirate Ship, available in NZ, Australia and Europe and two new play mats, one for the Castle and a Pirate Island play mat which adds colour and interest to the Pirate Ship.
Our great new teaching toy that doubles as a personal gift and a room decoration, Animal Alphabet Letters are available from Pumpkin Patch stores in NZ, Flying Kiwi in the UK and Europe, and Early Learning World in Australia.
The letters come in 5 fashion colours: blue, lime, yellow, pink and purple. Only $4.95 each. The jigsaw puzzles are our own designs and have been hand painted to offer you something different.
